Thought robocalls were going to stop invading your phone just because of the pandemic? Wishful thinking indeed.

Before, they just tried to scam you out of your money the usual way, but now, they are trying to take advantage of the international crisis in order to profit off of coronavirus-related fears. No, this is not the plot of a movie starring Nicholas Cage. This is real life. 

There are robocalls that offer testing kits, bogus treatments, or financial relief, with the callers posing as employees from government agencies. There are also text message hoaxes going around that instruct people to stock up on supplies. And now that stimulus checks are starting to get distributed, there are also scammers trying to get their hands on that government money.
